Maria Kanellopoulou is a Greek water polo player born on March 28, 1947. She represented Greece in international competitions, achieving fourth place at the 2001 European Championship and fifth at the 1998 World Championship. She competed again in the 2003 World Championship, finishing ninth. Kanellopoulou was part of the team that won the gold medal at the 1997 Junior World Championship. At the club level, she played for Olympiacos for 14 years, winning two Greek Championships and placing fourth in the 1995–96 LEN European Cup.
