Maria Khorsand is an Iranian computer scientist, business executive, and entrepreneur based in Sweden, born on June 12, 1957, in Sari. She became one of the founders of Bluetooth technology during her time as CEO of Ericsson in Sweden. Currently, she manages hardware production at Dell in Sweden and serves as the Executive Director of SP Sveriges Tekniska Forskningsinstitut. Khorsand has held several leadership roles, including leading the technology licensing department at Ericsson since 2001 and serving as Chair of Financial Markets at OMX Technology AB since April 2004.
