María Luisa Soriano Martín is a Spanish politician and professor affiliated with the People's Party (PP). Born on February 12, 1954, in Córdoba, she served as the Minister of Agriculture in the government of Castile-La Mancha from 2011 to 2015. She holds a degree in biological sciences and a doctorate from the University of Santiago de Compostela. Soriano was also a member of the regional parliament and was re-elected in 2011. After leaving her ministerial role, she was relocated to the Liceo Cervantes in Rome.
