Marián Ján Potáš was a Greek Catholic priest and a notable figure in the Ruthenian Greek Catholic Church. He served as a Basilians' protoihumen and was a bishop of the underground church in Czechoslovakia. Born on March 2, 1918, in Prešov, he dedicated his life to the church and its community until his death on February 23, 2006, in the same city.
