Marica Čepe, also known by her partisan name Eva, was a Slovenian teacher, journalist, and editor. Born on January 29, 1909, in Kamnica, Maribor, she taught from 1935 to 1941 before becoming an activist for the Osvobodilna fronta during World War II. Later, she worked as a partisan school inspector and editor of the women's newspaper Slovenka. Post-war, she was involved in the Communist Party and wrote extensively on the national liberation struggle in Ljubljana. She also commented on cultural issues, infamously criticizing the band Laibach.
