Marie Savard was a Canadian writer, born on August 15, 1936, in Quebec City, Quebec. She published her first poetry collection, 'Les Coins de l'Ove,' in 1965 and also released a self-titled recording of songs and poems that year. A prolific scriptwriter, Savard contributed scripts for children's programming and radio broadcasts, including 'Bien à moi.' In 1974, she founded Éditions de la Pleine Lune, the first Quebec publishing house for women. She passed away on January 16, 2012, in Montreal at the age of 75.
