Marika Tasler is a Russian-born artist, graphic designer, photographer, and co-creator of the Shape-CD as well as the founder of Pikosso Records. In collaboration with Mario Koss, she developed the world's first Shape-CD, which was released on April 1, 1995. This hand-crafted CD laid the foundation for a startup that sold approximately 75 million Shape-CDs. She has created around 1500 designs for artists like Madonna, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, and corporations including IBM, Microsoft, Burger King, and Deutsche Bank.
