Known for her unique creations of teddy bears, kappa, and plush toys, Tsuruta began her teddy bear journey in 1995 after the joy a bear brought to a young girl inspired her. With collaborations including Disney and a debut at a French craft fair in 2012, she has authored books about her art and experiences. Her works are sold in Japan and Paris, and she actively conducts research on animals in Paris.
