Marinella Terzi Huguet is a Catalan writer and translator born in Barcelona on September 22, 1958. After obtaining a degree in information sciences (journalism), she contributed to various media and began writing books for children and young adults, as well as stories for adults. She translated over one hundred children's books and served as an editor at SM for twenty-one years. Terzi engages with readers in schools and teaches creation, editing, and writing. In 2005, she received the Cervantes Chico Award for her body of work.
