Marino Restrepo, born in 1951 in Anserma, Colombia, is a Colombian Catholic speaker, evangelist, author, and musician. He was the sixth of ten children in a religious family and moved to Bogotá to engage in the hippie movement. After a period of extensive drug use, he studied in Germany and pursued music and acting in California. Following his abduction and subsequent mystical experiences while held captive by FARC-EP in 1997, he underwent a spiritual conversion and began sharing his testimony globally. In 1999, he founded the Catholic community Pilgrims of Love.
