Marinus Riwu (1957-2006) was an Indonesian Catholic figure who was executed by firing squad along with Dominggus da Silva and Fabianus Tibo on September 22, 2006. They were convicted of leading the riots in Poso, Central Sulawesi in 2000, which culminated in the massacre of about 200 people at a religious school. Riwu was born the youngest child of Daniek Djaga and Lusiana Bude. He later moved to Molores, a village of Nusa Tenggara people in Petasia, Morowali. He married a woman who gave him four children. While living there, he was recorded as having worked at PT Perkebunan Nusantara XIV. After his execution, he was buried in his hometown of Molores on September 22, 2006.
