Mario Jurić is a Croatian astronomer born in Zagreb. He graduated from the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, and earned his PhD from Princeton University in 2007. Jurić is the project manager for data management at the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope. He, along with amateur astronomer Corrado Corlevi, has discovered 125 asteroids and one comet, designated 183P/Corlevi.
