Following the 2014 elections, she returned to Swedbank, where she had served in management roles. By 2018, she was Head of Group Public Affairs at Swedbank. Since April 2019, she has been the Business Manager for Almi Företagspartner in Mälardalen. She became Chairwoman of the Inventum Foundation in February 2020 and was appointed Governor of Jämtland County in April 2021.
