Astrid Margareta (Marita) Notini-Nordquist was a Swedish painter and draftsman, born on October 20, 1909, and died on August 31, 1969. She was known for her portrait and landscape paintings in oil and watercolor. Notini-Nordquist, the daughter of Harald and Hilma Notini, was married to Gösta Nordquist in 1946. She studied at Tekniska skolan and Konsthögskolan and traveled for studies in Italy and North Africa. Her portrait of Maja Carlquist is considered one of her best works. She also illustrated books and periodicals, including for the magazine Barnträdgården.
