Marius Dewilde (1921–1996) was a French railway worker known for his claim of encountering extraterrestrial beings in 1954. Living near the tracks in Quarouble, Nord, he reported seeing two small humanoid figures after his dog began barking. He was allegedly paralyzed by a beam from their spacecraft, which then took off. Following the incident, he experienced physical ailments and observed unusual occurrences in the area, such as livestock deaths. His experience gained significant local media attention and remains part of UFO folklore in France.
