Marius Jan Elisa van der Veen was a Dutch resistance fighter during World War II. Born in Utrecht on April 22, 1917, he participated actively in the fight against the Nazi occupation. Unfortunately, his efforts came to an end when he died on March 8, 1945, in Woeste Hoeve. His bravery and commitment to the resistance movement make him a notable figure in Dutch history.
