Marius Johan Varekamp is a former Dutch politician born on May 22, 1942, in 's-Gravenzande. He served as a member of the Provincial States of South Holland from 1970 to 1986 and as a senator from 1995 to 2003. As a member of the VVD party, he advocated for agricultural interests and held various leadership roles, including chairing the Agricultural Council and the Royal Dutch Agricultural Committee. He also operated a rose nursery in Naaldwijk and was vice-chair of LTO Nederland.
