Mariusz Trynkiewicz, born on April 10, 1962, in Piotrków Trybunalski, is a notorious Polish serial killer known as the 'Satan of Piotrków'. He began abducting and abusing boys in the early 1980s while serving in the military. Initially sentenced to one year in prison, he was released to care for his ill mother. In July 1988, he kidnapped, abused, and murdered four boys, allegedly motivated by revenge for his original sentence. In 1989, he received a fourfold death penalty which was later commuted to 25 years due to Poland abolishing the death penalty.
