Marjan Jenko was a Slovenian lawyer and politician born on May 28, 1913, in Mirna na Dolenjskem. During World War II, he joined the partisans and after the war, worked for the Ministry of Finance. He served as the mayor of the Šiška municipality in 1955 and was the president of the City Council of Ljubljana from 1960 to 1961. Later, Jenko became a trade unionist and a member of parliament, and before retiring, he worked as a constitutional judge.
