Marjan Jerman was a Slovenian television and radio journalist and war correspondent, born on November 30, 1953, in Naklo pri Črnomlju and passed away on March 23, 2020, in Ljubljana. He covered significant events such as the Chernobyl disaster in 1986 and the conflicts in Kosovo and the former Yugoslavia during the 1990s. A prominent figure on RTV Slovenija, he contributed to the program TV Tednik and continued with Nedeljsko oko on radio Val 202. Jerman was also known for his passion for motor gliding and was a member of an aviation club. He officially retired in 2018.
