Marjorie Elsa Bell was a British electrical engineer and factory inspector, known for being the first woman to study electronic engineering at Northampton Institute. Following her graduation, she worked as a lecturer and became a factory inspector in 1936, earning a medal for her contributions during World War II. She later served as an inspector in Mandatory Palestine during the civil war. In retirement, Bell contributed to numerous industrial safety committees and became the first woman to chair a British Standards Institution technical standards committee. She was actively involved in the Women's Engineering Society.
