Mark David Ein is an American venture capitalist and sports entrepreneur born on December 31, 1964. He owns the Washington City Paper and is a limited partner of the NFL's Washington Commanders. Ein is a tennis enthusiast, having played semi-professionally in his 40s, and he founded the World TeamTennis team Washington Kastles in 2008. He has been the chair of the DC Open since 2019. Additionally, Ein serves as chairman of the President's Export Council and is a member of the Federal City Council, World Economic Forum, and Gridiron Club.
