Mark Ferber is an American jazz drummer born on January 18, 1975, in Oakland, California. He grew up in Moraga, learning piano in his childhood before switching to drums. Ferber has performed extensively as a sideman in both the West Coast and New York jazz scenes, collaborating with notable artists such as Lee Konitz and Norah Jones. He teaches at the City College of New York and the School of Improvisational Music. He is also known for being the twin brother of jazz trombonist Alan Ferber, with whom he often plays.
