He is the younger brother of musician Robben Ford and has performed on many of his albums. Renowned blues legend Muddy Waters referred to him as the new Little Walter. Additionally, Ford has collaborated with various artists, contributing to albums by Elton John, Brownie McGhee, Garth Webber, and Pamela Rose.
