Mark Ford is a renowned harness racing trainer born on October 12, 1970, in Ronceverte, West Virginia. He gained prominence for training Gallo Blue Chip, who was recognized as the 2000 Harness Horse of the Year and was the richest pacer ever at that time. Ford shared the Dan Patch Trainer of the Year Award in 2000 with Jimmy Takter. Additionally, he trained Shadow Play for his Canadian co-owner and trainer. In 2016, he became President of the Standardbred Owners Association of New Jersey.
