Mark Grimmette is a former U.S. luger and current luge coach, born on January 23, 1971, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was notably successful with partner Brian Martin, achieving significant milestones in doubles luge from the mid-1990s to 2010. They won numerous medals, including a bronze at the 1998 Winter Olympics and a silver at the 2002 Winter Olympics. The duo also garnered multiple World Cup wins and national titles in their career and represented the U.S. at several Olympic games. After retiring, Grimmette took on a coaching role in the sport.
