He is renowned for his work at Walt Disney Animation Studios, where he created iconic animated characters, particularly leading roles and heroines. Notably, he was the lead animator for Ariel in The Little Mermaid, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Jasmine in Aladdin, Young Simba in The Lion King, Mulan in Mulan, and Tiana in The Princess and the Frog. Known as the 'princess guy', Henn directed short films and had a long career spanning 43 years before retiring in 2023.
