Mark Homan is a Dutch cyclist born on May 12, 1986, in Hoorn, specializing in road races and time trials. Due to a spastic condition since birth, he competes using a three-wheeled racing bike. Homan developed a passion for cycling early on, starting with an ordinary tricycle. In 2005, he borrowed a racing bike and quickly made a name for himself by competing in the Open European Championships, where he won a bronze medal in the time trial. He represented the Netherlands at the 2008 Paralympics, finishing fourth in his category.
