Mark Honigsbaum is a distinguished medical historian and journalist focused on infectious diseases. He currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at City, University of London. Honigsbaum completed his BA and M.A. at Oxford University in 1982 and began his journalism career in 1984. He obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in History from the University of London in 2011. Additionally, he was granted a research fellowship by the Wellcome Trust in 2013 to explore the intellectual roots of disease ecology.
