He is the founder and President of the Mark Kaufman Charity Fund, which has focused on charitable programs since 2011. Prior to that, he led the Whitehall Group, a major importer and distributor of wines and alcoholic beverages in Russia, for two decades. His work aimed to not only drive business but also educate the public on wine consumption. Kaufman is also an author of four books and over fifty publications related to wine.
