Mark Tremonti is an American guitarist and singer, born on April 18, 1974, known for his work with rock bands Creed and Alter Bridge. He co-founded both bands and formed his own group, Tremonti, in 2011, releasing five albums. Tremonti has received accolades for his skills as a guitarist and songwriter, including a Grammy for Creed's single "With Arms Wide Open". He was named Guitarist of the Year by Guitar World for three consecutive years and ranked as one of the greatest heavy metal guitarists by Total Guitar.
