Markéta Jakšlová, also known by her married name Markéta Plecháčová, is a Czech dance-pop and trance singer born on April 9, 1985, in Prague. She is a founding member of the music duo Verona, established in 2002. The duo released albums including 'Náhodou' and gained international success with the single 'Hey Boy'. In 2017, she left Verona to focus on her solo project MARQET, releasing her first multi-genre album 'ME' the same year. Jakšlová is married to Jan Plecháč and has two children.
