He played college basketball at the University of California, Berkeley, where he was the starting center for the 2010 team that won the program's first conference title since 1960. After his college career, he played professionally in Mexico, Australia, and Japan. As of 2022, he is the graduate manager for the Oregon Ducks men's basketball program.
