Markku 'Matkis' Halme (May 12, 1962 – November 6, 2015) was a Finnish music and film journalist and actor. He worked for the rock magazine Rumba for nearly 20 years since its inception, later writing for other publications like Rytmi and Sue. Halme also acted in the University Theatre and appeared in several films, with his most notable role in Mika Kaurismäki's film 'Klaani' in 1984. He authored two books on Rumba's history and passed away due to complications from diabetes at the age of 53.
