Since the 1960s, he has been active in the film community, contributing to publications like Filmihullu and reviewing films and plays in the 1970s. Since 1989, he has edited numerous anthologies and collections published by Jalava and WSOY, with most of his works released by the end of 1996. He has occasionally published books for Jalava and Portti, including a six-volume collection of H. P. Lovecraft's works from 2009 to 2014.
