Markku von Hertzen, born on August 23, 1948, in Helsinki, is a Finnish economist and a former CEO of the Finnish Business Association. He served as a politician for the National Coalition Party and was an active member of the Espoo City Council from 1981 to 1994. Educated at Helsinki School of Economics, von Hertzen held various roles including Chairman of the student union and CEO at Finnish Business Association from 1994 to 2007. He has also contributed as a deputy chairman of Akava and was involved in the National Taxpayers' Association.
