Marko Anaf was a Yugoslav and Serbian physician and biologist born in Požarevac on December 24, 1909. He served as an associate professor and led the cytogenetic research laboratory at the Medical Faculty of the University of Belgrade. Anaf was also a participant in the National Liberation War, contributing to the medical and biological fields throughout his career. He passed away in Belgrade in January 2010.
