Marko Slokar is a Slovenian composer and musician, born on November 15, 1963, in Postojna. He lived in Nova Gorica until 1974 before moving to Ljubljana, where he discovered rock music and guitar early on. Slokar is the founder and guitarist of the hard rock band Requiem, as well as one of the founders of one of Slovenia's first heavy metal bands, Brezno zla.
