Markos Gimeno Vesga (1974-2018) was a versatile Basque artist known for his creativity and talents in wordplay, acting, music, and graphic design. He played bass in various bands, including The Pepes and Dantzut, and later formed the duo Hipo y Kondrias. He specialized in linguistic inventions, producing works like 131 AZA and SkizopozikS. Despite his artistic achievements, he battled depression and tragically took his own life at the age of 44. In 2020, a documentary was made in tribute to his artistic journey after a previous exhibition in Ermua.
