Markos Vafiadis (Greek: Μάρκος Βαφειάδης) was a prominent figure in the Greek Communist Party (KKE) during both the Greek resistance against Nazi occupation and the Greek Civil War. Born on January 28, 1906, in Tousia, he played a significant role in various political movements throughout his life. He passed away on February 22, 1992, in Athens.
