Marks Muto, also known by the pseudonym Armilov, was a Japanese translator and writer primarily focused on international and Chinese issues. He was born on February 7, 1906, in Nagaoka, Niigata-ken. An Esperantist since 1919, he participated in founding the Institute for Proletarian Science in Tokyo and the Japanese Proletarian Esperanto Union. He served as the chief editor of the publication 'Kamarado' and compiled a 6-volume 'Proletarian E-Course' in 1931.
