Markus Glasauer is a German basketball player and coach born on January 2, 1975, in Heidelberg. He won three German youth basketball championships in the 1980s and 1990s and played 36 international matches for the German U16 team. In 1994, he was selected for a youth world selection in Chicago. He played nine seasons in the 2nd Basketball Bundesliga South. After retiring and a break from basketball, he became a youth coach in the Rhein-Neckar region in 2022, passing on his extensive experience to young athletes.
