Markus-Michael Kessler, born on January 28, 1962, in Vorsfelde, is a former German long jumper. He competed in two editions of the European Indoor Championships in 1984 and 1985, finishing seventh in 1984 with a jump of 7.59 meters. Kessler also participated in the Junior European Championships in 1981 but was disqualified in the sprint relay. He ranked fifth at the German Championships in 1980 and fourth in 1981, later becoming German Indoor Champion in 1984 and 1985. He was third in 1986 at the German Championships.
