Markus Koch is a German television journalist, producer, and non-fiction author, born on April 10, 1971, in Königstein im Taunus. He gained recognition in 1996 for his reports from the New York Stock Exchange for the TV channel n-tv. Since 2007, he has been producing his web and television formats in New York City and Berlin. Over the years, he has received numerous nominations and was awarded Journalist of the Year in 2019. His talk show, Auf der Couch by Markus Koch, was also recognized for outstanding economic journalism in 2017.
