Marta Dacosta Alonso is a Galician poet, teacher, and unionist born in Vigo in 1966. She holds a degree in Galician-Portuguese Philology and has published numerous poems in various magazines, contributing to collective works and anthologies. Dacosta has received several awards for her literary contributions. Currently, she teaches Galician at IES Terra de Turonio in Gondomar and collaborates with the newspaper Sermos Galiza.
