She graduated from the Lviv Conservatory in 1975 and became a soloist at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow in 1978. Since 1999, she has been living and working in Louisiana, USA, performing works by Ukrainian, Russian, and foreign composers as well as folk songs. Her notable programs include 'When My Soul Sings' and 'The Magic of Opera'.
