Marta Mirosława Lempart is a Polish lawyer, manager, and activist born in 1979 in Lwówek Śląski. She is the founder of the All-Poland Women’s Strike, which has been organizing protests against the abortion ban due to fetal abnormalities since 2016, intensifying in October 2020. Lempart has been detained multiple times for her activism. In February 2021, she faced charges related to her protests. She ran unsuccessfully for mayor of Wrocław in 2018 and for the European Parliament in 2019. Lempart identifies as a lesbian and participates in pride parades.
