Marte Huke is a Norwegian poet born on March 9, 1974, in Lørenskog, near Oslo. She grew up in Melhus and studied German and literature at the University of Bergen. Huke debuted with her poetry collection Delta in 2002, exploring themes of nature and language. Her subsequent works include Se sol, Ta i mot, and Du er et levende sted, focusing on various complex themes like love, pregnancy, and nature. She contributed to the Æ Å Trondheim Literature Festival and currently resides in Trondheim and Berlin, being the sister of jazz vocalist Kirsti Huke.
