Martin Aliker was a Ugandan dental surgeon, businessman, and community leader born on October 21, 1928. He served as a senior adviser to the President of Uganda and held positions on the boards of numerous Ugandan companies. As the chancellor of Victoria University Uganda and the founding chancellor of Gulu University from 2004 to 2014, he made significant contributions to higher education in Uganda. Aliker passed away on April 15, 2024, leaving a legacy in both dentistry and education within Uganda.
