Martin Dohnal (born October 24, 1959, in Brno) is a Czech pianist, composer, actor, and dramaturg. He studied at various institutions, including Gymnázium Lerchova and the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts, where he completed his studies in composition in 1994. Dohnal has been involved in theater and music since elementary school. He founded the band Pro pocit jistoty in 1983, worked at HaDivadlo, and has been an actor and dramaturg at the National Theatre in Brno since 2007. He composes mainly for theater, orchestras, and organs.
